Tributes

Tributes are longer stories of cool stuff people have done for me and my family. Sometimes they happen as events like SMyles Day (my birthday) and Cinco de Myles (May 5th).

Myles book – created by his Junior Kindergarten Class

St. Regis Junior Kindergarten 2007-2008

Myles’ class. The teachers and students spent a full semester with Myles. They got to know him well and he was a great friend to all. They got together and produced a book to celebrate what Myles means to them. Click on the photo gallery link to view the book.

Myles remains a fixture both in the JK classroom, where he is talked about daily, and in the hearts of his classmates who have now moved on to Kindergarten.

When Fr. Yost and Jay met to talk prior to Myles’ service, Jay thought it was for him to tell Father Yost about Myles. Quickly cutting that off, Fr. said, “Oh, I know Myles … and when you know a Jr. Kindergartner … .”  Father teaches theology and American sign language at Brother Rice High School, next door to St. Regis.

Please enjoy Myles’ classmate’s thoughts and pictures about their friend. Great thanks to the many hands involved in the book’s making.
